As Vodacom is the lead sponsor of South Africa’s most popular rugby team the Blue Bulls, we wanted to find a way to bring the fans closer to their beloved team than ever before. We created the Vodacom Tour Phone.

We sent three Vodacom Tour Phones with the team while on their Vodacom SupeRugby tour. During the tour, the players and coaching staff captured never-seen-before behind the scenes photos, voice recordings and video footage of the team.

Small glimpses of the Vodacom Tour Phone content was fed through to the Vodacom and Blue Bulls Facebook Pages and their Twitter handles. However, only the lucky winners would have exclusive full access to all content captured making it the ultimate fan prize!

Fans could automatically enter the competition to win one of three Vodacom Tour Phones by joining the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #vodacomtourphone. Out of thousands of entries, only three lucky winners won the phones.
