KLM | AR Newsfeed Ads

Our Try Before You Fly campaign is bringing the most powerful abbreviations of our time together in a single feature, introducing: KLM AR newsfeed ads on FB. Our goal was to use AR effects to promote three lesser-known and booked KLM destinations leveraging FB’s new AR feature — even before its public release.

By interacting with the ad in their newsfeed, people could unlock a door in augmented reality and find themselves right in the middle of a destination’s environment. For instance in front of a majestic landmark. But we didn’t just elicit awe, but also ‘aha’, providing smart facts about each destination to get travelers even more excited to travel to the destination and see and experience it for themselves.
